Isabel Schmidt FITNESS INSTRUCTOR

I live to enthuse, motivate and encourage. I have a long term approach to health and fitness, empowering people to feel great, look great and enjoy good health. Whatever level you’re at, I will show you that you can achieve, have fun and maintain your results by means of education and incremental improvement.

I’m all about excellent form, which will protect your body from injury and make every move more effective. With me, you will work hard, eat well to literally feed your fitness goals from within and have a lot of fun.

With personal training, your fitness programme will be tailor made to you: I will consult with you to define your goals and will coach and train you to achieve them. In class, I will watch and listen and lead you within the group.

I am passionate about fitness for people who have special needs, with particular experience in people who have Down’s Syndrome.

My personal, ongoing and ever-developing obsession is bodyweight training. The purity, effectiveness and breadth of training which is possible using just the body and gravity enthrall me. I also have a love of lifting things which are increasingly heavy and running further and faster. I am is a keen participant in obstacle races and a firm believer in the value of flexibility training.

I love obstacle races like the Desert Warrior and the Spartan Race, if it involves climbing, crawling or getting covered in mud sign me up!
